BEGINS AND ENDS WITH DESIGNPOINT

Glen Walter, the founder and managing member of ELEVEN, LLC, an international design consultancy, has transitioned. Scaled down, in order to  hyper-focus on DESIGNPOINT, where he kicked things off in the late eighties.


Having the luxury to have overseen innumerable design programs on behalf of Fortune 100 companies, innovative startups, and everything in between, there is a feeling of gratitude. Fortunate to have created such long-term relationships with so many talented and interesting individuals is somewhat overwhelming. Connections that were made collaborating with hundreds of clients and consultants over the years, along with those employees and partners who joined me each day and night to solve the challenges we faced is what resonates. There are more designs and patents than I can remember. 


Spoken and mentored at numerous institutions of higher learning — Harvard, MIT, NYU, Babson, Syracuse… and professional societies like IDSA, Design Management Institute and Enterprise Ireland. Authored articles, featured in publications like The Harvard Business Review, ID Magazine, Boston Globe, Boston Business Journal, Design Management Institute, Wall Street Journal, and Irelands, Daily Independent... Honored to have participated as an expert juror in a number of design award programs including the international IDEA Awards in Washington DC.

          I find myself in a position of thought leadership. I have rallied enthusiasm at the Industrial Designer's Society of America, Design Management Institute, other organizations, universities, corporations and governments that would listen to me speak about the universe of available ideas and  the literal frameworks that are productive conduits. Possibilities through creativity and imagination were always core themes.

          An hour North of Boston on Maine's Rocky Coast.
